The first and most important step towards becoming a sustainable school is managing its energy consumption. This document is intended to provide staff at the Church of England with a higher level view of the issues of energy management and reducing carbon dioxide emissions from a school. Its aim is to give a summary of the information and tools that the Church of England may require in communicating with schools.
